Baby, it's cold outside!

Here in north Alabama, we certainly aren't used to temps like we have outside right now. We definitely aren't getting the frigid temps that some more northerly latitudes are experiencing. However, one of our smoke alarms started chirping two hours ago and, lo and behold, we had no power. Props to Athens (Athens, AL) Utilities for getting the power back so quickly.
