I started with blogger.com after Evan Williams spoke at Gnomedex II. I ended up going to Movable Type, but some unforeseen problems led me to end up back with Blogger. I do like Blogger!
Anyway, my stuff has been on the same host the whole time. This is a shameless little plug for the SDF Public Access Unix System. For the low, low price of FREE (actually $1 to prove that you are indeed a human being), you get 80 MB of space on the preeminent site that provides free shell account access. See this page for more details on joining. I started with the free level and quickly moved up to ARPA membership. If you're interested in something more than the standard Redmond experience, give SDF a shot!
